Hi Podcast visitors! Below is a gallery I put together for you. You can follow the course of Sasha's progression from sickly, institutionalized orphan to the happy, healthy child he is today. Click on any of the thumbnails to expand the picture.

This is how I first met Sasha.at the orphanage. He didn't cry when I took him from there, which means he wasn't attached to anyone.

Here's Sasha back in the hotel room. He was depressed and sickly. He was even diagnosed as autistic when I got him home!

Sasha always looked so sad in the early days. He could barely hold his head up.

You can see he had rashes and looked forlorn. At 17 months old, he was only the size of an American 6 month old!

Shortly after he came home, Sasha's skin cleared up and he looked healthier.

Here's Sasha from last year - a healthy, happy kid, who is loving and very attached to his parents.

Here's a picture of our family, me, Sasha and my partner Marty.

Our family at Disneyworld, January 2005. Woo-hoo! Sasha really loved Disneyworld.

Sasha and I survey the snow in our hometown.

It's hard to believe this is the same kid who showed such a failure to thrive three years ago.

Sasha is such a happy kid. Look at the joy on his face!

I took this on the day of his Kindergarden orientation, May 2005.
